As part of the 15th anniversary of Les Journées de la Culture (The Cultural Days), the projection À Court de Souffle! (Breath Short!) will take place at Cinéma Le Clap Saturday evening October 1st, 2011 at 9:00 p.m. The event, organized by Thomas Rodrigue, gathers a hand of filmmakers eager to change the world that stands before them and takes on the camera to meet their ends. May it be a question of national independence, alienating capitalism or the erosion of traditions, the directors present at the night, who still are refining their tools and craft at the 7th art, don’t hesitate to use them vigorously and courageously to stir the topics they address, may it be in a pragmatic, more abstract or even in a poetic way.

The projection will be preceded by a presentation of the program and followed by a chat with the directors to let the public express its impressions and commentaries about the shorts, thus promote the exchange between the audience and the creators which is too often neglected in cinema.
